The César string quartet was formed by the union of musicians Bruno Tripoli, Angela Woon Young Kang, Marco Varisco and Antonio Papetti, with a long chamber and orchestral experience.
During their career they have often played the role of principal part in orchestras and have been winners, with other formations, in important national and international competitions in the field of chamber music.
The quartet members have played in theaters all over the world including Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Teatro National de Madrid, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Opera Theater in Oslo, National Theater Taipei, Konzerthaus Freiburg, Teatro Piazzolla in Buenos Aires, collaborating with internationally renowned artists such as M.Maisky, S.Mintz, V.Ashkenazy, A.Lucchesini, V.Spivakov, A.Rudin, U, Ughi, Y.Yang.
In the many events in which the quartet was invited to play , it is noted : 2013 the quartet was invited by the Novara Conservatory to collaborate in a masterclass on music for strings and flutes of the 1700s; In 2016 the quartet participated in the recording of the opera "Hansel e Gretel" in world premiere performance for the Carlo Colla & Figli tradition puppet theater; In 2019 the quartet was invited to play in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) for an important international music event. The vast repertoire, built over the years, ranges from classical authors to the most recent ones, embracing a time period of over three centuries. In addition to the classical concert, the quartet is available for meetings, social events, weddings in the form of entertainment music.
